We have an exclusive opportunity for a Civils Build Manager working across Cumbria for a leading Telecoms Company.

This is a chance to join an exciting, forward thinking and rapidly expanding company. This is a challenging but rewarding role, with the opportunity to grow with the business.

**Main Duties**:

- To manage and oversee the Civils aspect of the build, ensuring the associated build teams are meeting KPIs and targets.
- Overseeing the Programme & Planning of works.
- Daily tracking of the network build.
- Overall management of Supervisors / Engineers on site including daily liaison
- Ensure relevant Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
- Team development and training.
- Works completion and Client handover management including As-Built compliance / documentation.
- Attend all required meetings with both Client & sub-contractors.
- Chairing weekly progress meetings.
- Ensuring Council permits are in place to keep Civils works on schedule.
- Manage client expectations on date deliveries and volume delivery targets.
- Manage risk register to identify and prevent delivery programme delays.
- Assess, review, and mitigate commercial & contractual risks.
- Monitor work production outputs closely with regular dialogue with the commercial dept.
- On site visits as required.

**Experience & Skills**:

- At least 3 years’ Civils experience within the telecoms industry.
- Previous management experience.
- The ability to motivate and grow a successful team to deliver the highest possible standards.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills.
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation with a thorough knowledge of The Reinstatement of Openings in Highways
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, including MS Project
- SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
- Previously supervised civils gangs, box builders and reinstating crews
- Knowledge of BT Openreach specifications & documentation
- Knowledge of Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) (desirable)
- GIS/AutoCAD knowledge (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 5 points).
