**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
To help plan and deliver our European events, awards and education programmes
- Administration support to the VP Events and Programmes, including diary management, venue and supplier research, preparing reports and presentations, managing invitation lists and other events logistics requirements
- Wider team general administration support as required
- Proposing and developing materials and activities to be used during events
- Setting up meetings and preparing briefs with speakers and decision makers
- Creating agendas, briefings and supporting attendees and staff in the run up to events
- Supporting and co-ordinating onsite and virtual events, working with other internal and external teams to help ensure the event runs smoothly
- Setting up and hosting Zoom webinars
- Managing the European events and programme calendar and updating centrally as required
- Monitoring and processing supplier invoices and building mutually successful supplier relationships
- Credit control for registration revenue for events.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in either events or marketing or general administrative roles
- Proven recent experience of organising events or programmes at work or in education
- Ideally recent experience managing virtual meetings or webinars, preferably on Zoom
- Organised and accurate - excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Agile and Adaptable - preference to manage multiple projects simultaneously, quick learner, adaptable and able to think on their feet.
- Proactive and resourceful - able to initiate and to assume ownership for tasks.
- Communication - effectively transfers information and expresses ideas to individuals and groups both aurally and in writing
- Relationship Management - ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships with members (clients), staff and suppliers
- Influence & Negotiation - ability to impress and influence senior leaders in an international fast paced environment as well as suppliers
- Technical Expertise - applies and improves technical skills and judgement including Microsoft Office, (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Zoom.
- Information management - finding, filtering and organising information, knowledge and data for current or future use

**DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE**:

- Interest in and experience of the real estate sector
- Experience working with or for a not-for-profit / member organisation
- Other European languages

**EDUCATION**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Availability to travel occasionally within Europe and to work occasionally in the evenings and weekends according to the event schedules.
