We are recruiting for an Occupational Health Coordinator to work at an operational level within the business, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including our occupational health provider, Management teams and HR Business Partners.

Ensuring all medicals are processed in a timely manner keeping management teams updated on each case, reviewing medical referrals and results to ensure all the necessary information has been received. Arranging payment of case and referral fees.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Monitor the medical inbox, responding to queries efficiently.
- Support HRBP’s with Absence Management referrals
- Co-ordinate the delivery of clinics and appointments, making and changing appointment bookings, responding to queries, and managing information on the Occupational Health system.
- Liaising with the resources team and local depots to ensure operational efficiency.
- Management of all medical bookings, including new entrant, periodics and Drugs and Alcohol screening in accordance with Crosscountry standards.
- Management of Physiotherapy referrals.
- Record periodic results on ACMS system and ensure correct expiry dates are recorded to facilitate reports on future periodics due.
- Compile reports for ORR on a periodic basis.
- Manage Account holder relationship with Occupational Health provider, escalating queries and complaints.
- Act as first point of contact for all Occupational health enquiries.
- Support Managers with Occupational Health Referrals ensuring relevant information and questions have been included.
- Resolving issues proactively.
- Using HR data to proactively identify opportunities to improve People Management across the organisation.
- Produce accurate reports as required.
- Act as point of contact with Arriva Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing
- Tracking private treatment referrals.
- Arrange hearing aids/glasses including budgetary control, raising Purchase orders and invoicing.
- Work with ED&I Wellbeing team on Wellbeing initiatives.
- Manage Account Holder relationship with EAP provider, escalating queries and complaints.
- Manager Account Holder relationship with Trauma Support provider, escalating queries and complaints.
- Attend SSEG meetings to provide data on Periodic and D+A medicals.
- Plan and organise all activities, involving, for example, work schedules/rotas and may also be responsible for the co-ordination of activities with internal stakeholders and other professionals and external bodies. A flexible approach will be required in order to ensure appropriate adjustments and communication can be made relevant to changing circumstances.
- Additionally they will be expected to follow secure operating procedures for handling information in all formats, including verbal, written and that held electronically.
- Occupational Health degree & NMC registration.
- Experience in case management. Demonstrable experience within Occupational Health departments, preferably private sector experience.
- Experience of attending, presenting, and hosting client Wellness and health promotion days.
- Knowledge of Outlook and Word is essential, and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is desired.
