We currently have an exciting opportunity for a DCL Works & Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Yeovil. We are looking someone who is enthusiastic with good organisational skills with the ability to learn and grow within our business.

In this position you will be responsible for Scheduling work for one of our most recent awarded contracts.

This requires excellent customer service skills and methodical approach to coordinate with our clients, members of the public and our staff carrying out the works. We are given strict deadlines and procedures to follow so the ability to work well under pressure and problem-solving skills are essential.

Flexibility and excellent communication skills are vital for this role, previous experience or knowledge of the water industry or scheduling would be beneficial but no essential as we will provide training.
- Day to day scheduling and planning of our dedicated Teams working on DCL contract. Working with colleagues to meet KPI and cover holiday of another Scheduler.
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Receiving and making phone calls to customers, clients and managing expectations. Closing out jobs and ensuring all information required is gathered via our computer systems.
- General administrative tasks like setting up new employees, issues contracts and induction paperwork. Assisting with obtaining weekly timesheets of all site staff.
- Liaison between our Teams, clients and possible third parties.
- Monitoring and purchasing PPE for staff
- Monitoring and booking training for staff with both internal and external trainers, constantly reviewing and updating company training matrix. Working closely with Internal auditor to assist through the process of external auditors and ensure compliance.
- Good knowledge and understanding of IT systems.

- Excellent Communication Skills
- IT Literate as you will be using our in-house system(s) and clients’ systems to update progress of works and allocate to the relevant Teams to complete the works.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Highly organised with a good attention to detail
- Proactive and positive, 'can do' attitude.
- Good planning and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed within timescales.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

**Desirable**:

- Experience in water or utilities industry
- Experience of working of scheduling day to day work for Teams within strict deadlines.

Receiving telephone calls, deliveries, welcoming clients, assisting with External Audits and Adaptable, hardworking, with good attention to detail. Fantastic organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.
