**£32,000 - £35,000**:
**London - Hybrid**

Our client, a leading insurance group based in the heart of the City of London, is seeking an HR Assistant to join their talented team of HR Professionals. You will provide comprehensive HR Operations support across all aspects of HR and ensure a high-quality service is delivered to the business.

You will be supporting the HR Ops team with HR administrative duties including contracts of employment for new starters; onboarding new starters and offboarding leavers, data updates and data cleansing, Recruitment/ hiring administration activity and general HR operations tasks.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES will include**:
**Recruitment**
- Conducting pre-employment background checks, right-to-work checks, issuing online medical checks
- Preparing contracts, new starter packs and creating new electronic employee files ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard and filed accordingly
- Coordinating the pre boarding/onboarding process for all new joiners
- Maintaining and updating the Workday system to prepare job requisitions, offer approvals and job changes for approval for new hires / leavers / employee contractual changes

**HR Operations**
- Day to day maintenance and updates of employee records held on the HR systems (manual and electronic) and frequent auditing to ensure high data integrity
- Absence reporting
- Leavers administration
- Provide administrative support to the HR ops Team as needed

**About you**:
You will have had relevant experience working within an HR Operations/Shared Service environment and you will have a broad HR knowledge and understanding of the employee lifecycle, working practices and employment legislation.

You will have a good working knowledge of Workday.

You will also have strong MS office skills and you will be service oriented, analytical and numerate with high attention to detail and concern for quality of information.
