Reed Oxford are delighted to be partnering with an established University for the appointment of a Governance Officer. They will provide high quality, professional administrative support and will undertake a range of administrative duties, alongside servicingthe Board, its senior sub-committees and Vice-Chancellors Group.

This is a high-profile, public role working alongside members of high-level academic and executive decision-making bodies and other academics across the university

The responsibilities of this vacancy include, however are not limited to:

- Coordinate the operations of the University Boards/ Committees, including scheduling meeting dates, management of committee websites, alongside supervising tasks in relation to the organising of meetings and circulation of papers.
- Produce the annual schedule of university meetings
- Provide professional support to designated committees including maintaing formal records, producing agendas, ensuring actions are recorded and followed up accordingly
- Manage the Vice-Chancellor's Office inbox dealing with high level administration queries

The successful individual will have senior administration experience, including experience in servicing committees. They will have a systematic, thorough and well organised approach to ensure tasks are completed during the expected timeframes and to a highstandard. Building trust with all parties is key and so the ability to communicate effectively and work alongside a wide range of academic and administrative collegues is essential.
