Are you looking for a varied role in project and programme support?

We are seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to ensure smooth running of the Accelerate Programme's activities and help build a community of scientists working at the interface of machine learning and the sciences.

Working closely with the Programme's Executive Director and Programme Manager, you will help ensure that the Programme operates efficiently, by developing administrative processes, organising events, ensuring effective communications across stakeholder communities and monitoring Programme expenditure.

You will have experience of working in an administrative role, with the ability to deliver a variety of project-related activities and events, such as committee meetings and events, and the ability to carry out project financial administration. You will be able to demonstrate excellent planning and organisations skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstrands simultaneously. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate communications across a range of audiences.

Responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and overseeing administration of Programme activities, preparing project plans and monitoring progress against project milestones.
- Organising Programme events, such as conferences, workshops, or training sessions, making necessary logístical arrangements and liaising with attendees.
- Providing administrative support to the Programme's Directors such as organising meetings and providing secretariat support to relevant committees.
- Monitoring expenditure against budgets and managing purchasing procedures.
- Supporting communications activities, including maintaining the Programme's website and newsletter.

The role is offered for at 0.5 FTE (18.25 hours per week).
