We’re looking for a Programme Development Coordinator to join our Midlands team working in our Programme and Development Team. The role will support the delivery of a robust and systemic programme development and value management process for the Region,ensuring investment proposals and emerging solution designs meet intended outcomes and provide the best lifecycle value.

What you’ll be leading on
- Plan and deliver programme development related activities within expected timescales and quality standards, ensuring activities are well planned and coordinated and that all supporting information and documents are effectively stored and controlled.
- Support the development of scheme project briefs and business cases, ensuring business outcomes are clearly articulated, and that all necessary stakeholders provide input and are consulted on the development of proposed solutions/designs.
- Coordinate the project brief approval process, liaising with Project Managers and Contracted Designers to manage timescales and impacts on the forward programme planning process.
- Provide coordination and preparation support for relevant programme development and value management approval processes and gateways.
- Support the development and checking of packages of work for scheme delivery suppliers.

To be successful
- Demonstratable experience in a comparable role
- Knowledge of National Highways 3D process and Access databases
- Knowledge of Stage Gate Process and CDMT (desirable)
- Good understanding of value management processes and cost benefits analysis
- Good commercial and financial acumen along with strong stakeholder management
