**Working hours**: 15 hours per week to be worked Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:30-17:00

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced individual to join our NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) team. You will be required to provide full reception and administrative support using a high level of initiative, common sense and discretion, demonstrating a professional and pleasant manner at all times. You must have good communication and organisational skills.

Whilst the primary objective of the post is to provide support to the Reception and office at The Countess of Chester Hospital, flexibility is required to work as part of a team covering peaks of workload and emergency cover to support the wider Department, including Clatterbridge Hospital as required.
- To undertake a full range of reception/clerical responsibilities
- Monitor, schedule and amend patient appointments following the clinical guidelines provided and adhering to the Trust Patient Pathway guidelines.
- Good communication skills are essential as the post holder will need to liaise directly with patients, consultants and other hospital staff.
- A working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft packages is required, but full training will be provided in the use of Cerner and NBSS software. Medical terminology would be an advantage.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
