An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women's & Children's Division for a Family Safeguarding and Complex Care - Data Administrator, this is a full time permanent position. The post holder will work within the Community Paediatric team within The Countess of Chester Hospital.

In this role the post holder will provide an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service to all members of the Safeguarding and Complex Care Team.

Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential for this role, along with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. Organisational skills are also essential.

A working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft packages is required, but full training will be given in the use of Medisec and EPR+ software. Knowledge of medical terminology also would be an advantage.
- To provide an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service to all members of the Safeguarding and Complex Care Team and to support the work being carried out across the Trust for the delivery of the safeguarding agenda.
- To facilitate all data administration aspects of the Trust’s Safeguarding and Complex Care strategy, which supports the monitoring of the Trust’s statutory safeguarding function including supporting the submission of the Safeguarding Assurance Framework and other mandatory safeguarding submissions, as well as the safeguarding standards, processing audit and/or performance data.
- To work collaboratively and co-operatively with all Trust staff, working as the primary gatekeeper for liaison between all Trust staff and the Safeguarding and Complex Care Team, supporting the delivery of safe, and effective care.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
