Join us as our Business Unit Reporting Lead
- We’ll look to you to lead a team on the delivery of business unit reporting activities for all product lines within Finance Transaction Control before it’s moved to NatWest Group FC
- Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of financial information, including for the balance sheet, profit and loss, management and statutory and external reporting
- Hone your leadership skills and champion the potential of our business as you support all legal entities and franchises
- We offer a hybrid way of working where you’ll be based in our Manchester office at least two days a week, with the rest of your time working from home

**What you’ll do**:
Your daily responsibilities will see you helping your global team to maintain the integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual legal entities and franchise financial information, delivering financial reporting outputs within SLA and supporting our bank’s and NatWest Markets’ customers at a senior level.

You’ll be establishing working relationships with key customers and senior stakeholders across the wider finance team. You’ll also be providing supporting information, as required, to customers at a senior level in the Financial Control function and other key finance areas.

Alongside this, you’ll be:

- Shaping the strategy and operating model for business unit reporting within Finance Transaction Control to ensure the confidence of our customers and legal entity controllers
- Leading a global team to deliver accurate financial reporting data and managing global BUR activities to provide outputs for all financial controller reviews and attestation
- Delivering the effective oversight of all finance services that’re provided by the FTC BUR team, including consolidation, taxation, pensions and accounting policies
- Acting as a member of the Finance Transaction Control Leadership team, challenging how we do things and leading change to support the Global Process Owner model
- Providing your expertise to the Financial Control function to support auditors throughout the reporting cycle
- Reviewing and signing off all key metrics and evidence of associated controls for consistency and participating as an attendee or member in various committees

**The skills you’ll need**:
In addition, you’ll have a background of leading the delivery of core financial control and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting and external audits.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- Experience of leading global teams of finance professionals
- The ability to build and enhance key relationships at a senior level, while influencing and challenging as required
- Knowledge of change best practices and experience of delivering change in the financial services industry or medium to large corporates
- An understanding of how to work to tight deadlines and manage key finance deliverables
