**What will you be doing?**

You will be based in the Crown Court and provide support to the Jury. This is a predominantly customer facing role, which includes public speaking in a court setting. You will have regular contact with court / tribunal users, including members of the Judiciary and the legal profession.
Alongside your public facing duties, you will be assigned to teams to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide administrative support to other functions within HMCTS.

Working as part of a flexible team, you will be expected to undertake a range of the functions and responsibilities specified.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- To undertake Jury Officer role. Communicate and work with the Judiciary, the Court Managers, Court staff, and other internal / external stakeholders, suppliers and customers to collect information, check facts, communicate or enforce judicial decisions.
- Assisting court users, supporting listing and rota management, checking files
- Processing and calculating Jury Expenses and dealing with any related enquiries
- To work as a team to problem solve and contribute to small projects
- Collecting and Assembling Information
- To deliver a helpful, prompt, polite and “right first time” service to all court / tribunal users and stakeholders

**Do you have the skills needed?**
- Strong customer focus and service skills
- Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer focussed environment
- Proficient with IT, with the ability to learn new systems and packages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

**Annual Leave**

Annual leave is 25 days on appointment and will increase to 30 days after five years’ service.
