Field Sales Surveyor - **The Job**:
This role involves travel throughout Scotland and the north of England.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Surveyor to join our expanding Sales team.

Our portfolio has a strong focus on AHU’s and ventilation; therefore, a strong knowledge of AHU’s is required.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with existing and new clients to generate sales opportunities / leads.
- Survey site, understand client requirements and provide cost & technical proposal to suit - this will include but not limited to AHU refurbishments, replacements, as well other mechanical HVAC works (boilers, etc);
- Generate sales quotation based on survey findings;
- Upon receipt of order from Client, complete handover with Operations to convert to live project.
- Introduce and / or promote products and services to key personnel in existing and new clients, and sales marketing channels as applicable.
- Price, negotiate and close orders and contracts as well as added value service to increase lifetime value of customer equipment in order to achieve personal, team and company sales targets.
- Develop new lead generation through desk research, sales calls, visits, events and other networking opportunities.
- Plan, organise and implement business wins from pre-qualification to Invitation to Tender and play a leading role in securing contracts through identifying potential opportunities, developing target opportunities into prospects.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as prospects to effectively manage customer accounts.
- Achieve sales targets and individual KPI’s.
- Attend relevant conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.
- Produce quarterly account plans, regular reporting on sales activities, achievements, challenges and planned target companies.
- Minimum HNC in HVAC or similar engineering qualification.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar HVAC / Engineering / Sales role.
- A strong understanding of heating, ventilation & air conditioning
- Understanding of construction and engineering principles
- Skill card
- NVQ, SVQ or City & Guilds qualification in heating, ventilation or air conditioning
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Full, valid driving licence
