The ever growing and expanding service is looking for motivated individuals to assist in building healthier lives for our patients, by developing the aseptic service which is critical to the treatment of our oncology and haematology patients.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The role will include a variety of tasks, enabling you to develop your knowledge and skills through structured education and training opportunities. It provides a rewarding opportunity to assist in the preparation of cytotoxic drugs, monoclonal antibodies, CIVAS, OPAT and innovative treatments such as clinical trials in a safe and efficient manner according to Good Manufacturing Practice and National Standards.

Main duties include:

- Stock management
- Assembly of raw materials
- Transferring products into the unit
- Worksheet production
- Aseptic preparation in isolators
- Cleaning of the unit
- Dispensing ready-made products
- Using computer systems
- Completing documentation

This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant technical officer to further their career in aseptic services.

An in-house training package will be provided to ensure you feel confident in completing the role. External training courses are provided where appropriate, including the opportunity to undertake the NVQ3 Science Manufacturing Technician Course.
