Kendal BID (Business Improvement District) is a not for profit company that supports Kendal's Businesses. The Board members are volunteers from Kendal's businesses and are supported by the BID Manager, who is currently the BID's only paid employee, on a part-time basis.

The role of Communications and Admin officer is to support the BID manager, with specific responsibility for the BID's social media output, the monthly newsletter and other communications, including news releases.

The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and ideally experience in social media and marketing.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Administration: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kendal, LA9 (required)

Work Location: In person
