**Key responsibilities**:
In this **Health and Social Care & Early Years Assessor** job, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver a presentation informing students of the DBS process, work experience and Navigate package to each tutor group during Induction.
- Deliver half termly progression update presentations throughout the year to each tutor group
- Support students to locate their own placement.
- Complete the risk assessment and employer's compliance for each placement using Navigate.
- Meet monthly with each tutor to discuss student group and update tutor on progress and agree action plans to support any students not up-to-date. Add meeting details and action plans to navigate.
- Monthly updates to CTM on student progress towards targets and within specified time frames - record on Navigate.
- Develop and agree a realistic plan for learning and assessment with students including identification of different needs and upload to Navigate.
- Contribute to the internal quality assurance process.
- Liaise with Internal Verifiers and External Verifiers to ensure student progress and achievement satisfy awarding body criteria.
- The postholder would be expected to undertake Internal Verification as required.
**Skills & experience**:
- Level 3 or advanced qualification (or equivalent) in relevant discipline.
- A relevant Assessor Award (A1 Assessor Award or equivalent)
- A relevant Internal Verifier Award (or equivalent).
- Level 2 Maths and English.
- Current knowledge of the industry and relevant legislation, Health & Safety and other associated legislation.
- Appropriate risk assessment qualification or willingness to complete.
