**What will you do & what will you need**

As a Transport Administrator you will plan, organise and manage the work of Drivers and their routes. This will ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organisational requirements and so that it reaches the customer on time and in perfect condition. This role will involve fully debriefing and dispatching Drivers to ensure the highest level of customer care. A key element of the role is monitoring all routes and escalating any issues appropriately.

Experience of administration in a busy transport environment is essential. PC literate (Word and Excel minimum). Good verbal and written communication. Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Gist Wardpark has recently undergone a refurbishment and extension to enhance capacity and support our network growth. We currently have 140 colleagues at Wardpark and support a satellite site at Lockerbie with a further 30 drivers. We also have a vehicle maintenance unit on site and free on site parking provided.
