**The Company**
We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in Manchester, You will be joining a global bank and will play a key part in revolutionising their IRB remit. This bank is building a digital community with a human touch.

**The Role**
As a key member of the quantitative modelling team, you will do the following:

- you will be responsible for managing the development of high-quality models
- working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure their effective planning, validation, approval, implementation, and use.
- You will also be responsible for ensuring that the models remain effective and accurate through ongoing model assurance activities.

**The Requirements**
- a strong understanding of IRB regulatory requirements and a proven track record in IRB modelling, with previous experience working in technical teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- You should have excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, with proficiency in mathematical approaches and advanced computer literacy, particularly in SAS.
- If you have experience working with retail portfolios and have led a team or multiple concurrent projects, it would be an advantage. Advanced knowledge of quantitative and analytical solutions would also be beneficial.
