**Overview of role**

The Communications Specialist will own the Earned, Shared and Owned parts of an integrated Communications strategy. This will involve working with the wider agency teams to devising and strategy and delivering campaigns that achieve the objective of Orchard’s client portfolio.

**The role will also include the selection and development of a team that is capable of delivering projects to agreed budget, agreed timescales and to an exceptional standard.**

This role is crucial in ensuring a fully integrated seamless campaigns.

In order to succeed in this role, you’ll
- Be able to demonstrate a strong PR/Social Media and External Communications track record
- Be proficient in the undertaking of research for insight generation that underpins communications strategy and tactics
- Have a working knowledge and in-depth understanding of Digital Content and Social Media Strategy and Delivery
- Have worked within a multi-product, multi-services organisation
- Have people management experience (ideally)
- Be a self-starter
- Have demonstrable, effective Stakeholder Management skills
- Be strategic and hands-on
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Ideally will have some experience working for an agency or managing an agency from the client side
- Be a Welsh speaker (desirable)
