Cawood is the UK’s leading scientific group, recognised for its technical capability and value-added service to customers. We provide laboratory analysis to the agriculture, food and environmental sectors, as well as contract research to GLP standards to support the development of agrochemicals, biocides and other chemicals.
Cawood are looking for a HR Administrator to join our team on a **full-time, permanent basis**. This is a **hybrid** role and will split time between our site in County Durham and homeworking.
This is an amazing opportunity to join a fun and driven HR team with a large agenda. This role is accountable for the end to end HR Administration cycle. If you have excellent organizational skills, a real passion for data accuracy and have done this before but looking for a new challenge, please apply.
Key Accountabilities:
- Creating processes, to support our new HR System (Workday), regarding starters, leavers and changes to contracts of employment. Ensuring all starters, leavers and changes are legally compliant, processed efficiently and stored in an appropriate manner.
- Maintaining all absence records across the organization by working alongside the General Managers and Line Managers to ensure accuracy in information.
- Supporting the Head of HR & Payroll with payroll related matters and tasks
- Delivering the full suite of HR reports required across the monthly and yearly cycle.
- Supporting with employee relations
- Being the point of contact for all HR queries.
- Supporting key projects as they arrive.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a large corporate environment where HR processes are well developed.
- A real drive and ownership for all people information.
- Passion to find better ways to do things.
- Great at building relationships with all stakeholders, even during those challenges times we have in HR.
- Previous experience with HRIS and workday is advantageous.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
