As the company grows, we are looking for an Administration & Accounts Assistant to work at our site, based just outside the village of Y Ffor.

**Summary of the role**:
**Primary responsibilities will include**:

- Answering the telephone and assisting with queries.
- Taking and processing customer orders, ensuring that delivery dates are met and informing customers of any potential issues.
- Ensuring that customer pricing for orders is correct, setting up new sales items/pricing as necessary and accurately maintaining the database.
- Ensuring that all price lists are set up on Sage and that the correct price lists are allocated to the relevant customers.
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing deliveries, chasing up where necessary.
- Generating delivery paperwork and booking transport (using web-based systems) for outgoing deliveries.
- Generating pro-forma invoices and taking card payments.
- Assist in monitoring customer credit limits and overdue accounts in conjunction with the Accounts Manager.
- Raising raw materials purchase orders on Sage, ensuring prices are correct.
- Ensuring that all office filing systems and traceability information is maintained and updated when necessary.
- Providing administrative assistance for the Management Team.
- Ensuring that the office diary is maintained with visits, staff holidays, absences etc.
- Printing and archiving any forms, labels or documents required by the Management Team, Production and Packing staff.
- Maintaining office supplies and placing orders when necessary.
- Performing any other tasks as necessary and as directed by your supervisor, or any member of management.
- Friendly and approachable when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Thorough, accurate and careful when processing customer transactions.
- A self-starter, quick to learn and willing to take on further responsibility as the role develops.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team.
- Adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Proficient in English and Mathematics.
- Computer literate (experience with Sage 50 Accounts desirable)
- Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Experienced in customer service and working in an office environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Starting from £12.50 per hour depending of experience. Pay to be reviewed in 3 months.
