Cornwall Council Families Together and Cornwall Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for children and young people is changing, for the better. We have developed a multi-agency rapid response service (MARRS) that will deliver urgent care across services for children and young people who experience mental health and social care crisis across Cornwall. We aim to build an integrated pathway that offers support and treatment for families in a joined-up way.

We are looking for an administrator to join our team in the newly formed Multi-Agency Rapid Response Service.

This post is available on a part time basis, 22 hours per week. Working hours can be flexible and will be agreed with the post holder upon appointment. The post holder will be based at our new office in Victoria Offices, Roche.

You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is well organised and has excellent communication skills.

Essential skills required for the post include strong organisational, typing and administrative skills.This role requires an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure on your own initiative.

This is an important role within the team and requires teamwork and commitment.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to Multi-Agency Rapid Response Service and Team Administrator. To provide an essential administrative service to ensure administration tasks are completed to a high standard daily.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
