Reed HR have been engaged by an industry leading, education establishment who are looking to recruit an experienced **HR Administrator** into the HR function. This role sits within a friendly, supportive team and will assist the HR Manager to deliver a comprehensive HR Service with a view to progressing into an Advisory level role in the near future.

**As the HR Administrator your key duties will include**:

- To assist the HR Manager in developing and implementing new projects providing administrative support where required.
- To administer the School’s internal academic cover system, logging both planned and unplanned absence for staff and ensuring that appropriate cover is available for lessons.
- To support the HR Manager with the administration of pre-employment checks including the processing of DBS checks, referencing, right to work, qualification and medical checks.
- To carry out general administration for the HR Department including drafting standard letters, arranging meetings, collating, and circulating papers and following up action points as required.

**The successful HR Administrator will possess**:

- A desire to learn more about HR and recruitment
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
