- Are you an experienced purchasing professional with excellent organisation and attention to detail? Are you seeking a role in which you will ensure our delivery teams have the correct parts, materials and equipment to provide maximum asset uptime and availability? We are seeking a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our team in Liverpool, and help us keep the world moving**Your Role**
- You will build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, negotiating the very best prices when purchasing stock. You will keep up with a rapidly changing market in order to manage costs and check competitive guide prices regularly to ensure the company is competitive in pitching sales- Following purchase orders through the full cycle, you will manage any invoicing or delivery queries promptly and effectively, liaising with the Accounts team as and when required. Working as part of the wider team, you will liaise with colleagues on a daily basis to determine priorities, ensure KPIs are met and to advise of any shortages and/or ordering issues which may impact delivery of the plan.**What you'll bring**
- You will have experience previous experience in a Purchasing or similar role with excellent relationship building and negotiation skills. An understanding of the need for and commitment to maintaining asset critical supply chains, JIT, consignment stocking, Kanban would be advantageous. You will be a confident IT user with excellent MS Office skills.- You will have an astute commercial outlook and understand the needs of the business and its operations, internal and external customers. Holding excellent problem solving skills, you will have the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.**Who are we?**
