**First Line Manager (Inventory/Stock Control)**
You'll have an important part to play as an Inventory First Line Manager. As a forward thinking and people focussed company you'll motivating the team through clear direction and leadership, monitoring performance to ensure the site achieves high accuracy levels, focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture. Leading the onsite stock team, you will help them achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets in-line with the site KPI's.

**First Line Manager Responsibilities include**:
- Plan and manage workload in-line with staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for all team members
- Lead a team of direct line reports including delivering team member performance review, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
- Facilitate effective communication, between your team and the operational team
- Organise and lead the focus on improved accuracy levels across site
- Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an on-going basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety
- Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
- Promote and behave in a way consistent with Unipart's vision, values and principles
- Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms.
- Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development
- Build and demonstrate an in-depth systemic awareness of all the WMS
**First Line Manager Requirements**:
- Effective communicator (written and verbal) who communicates openly, motivates and inspires, creates a positive work environment, manages team performance and sets a good example for the team
- Ability to build effective relationships, treating others with respect, demonstrating a sensitivity to diversity and fosters positive workplace relationships
- Provides constructive feedback, objectively assesses team members, grows team member skills, helps people in achieving their highest potential, is open to feedback from others
- Focuses on the needs of customers, drives the team to meet service levels, collaborates internally to provide customer service
- Identifies issues, problems & opportunities, analyses cause & effect, practically and collaboratively solves problems, implements corrective action
- Generates enthusiasm and has a positive attitude to change, overcomes barriers to change, seeks opportunities to improve processes, plans and carries through change
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, problem solving, organisational and planning skills
- PC literate
- Creative individual required who has a track record of identifying problems and using appropriate techniques, including the use of data analysis, in order to come up with robust solutions
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00, 40 hours per week
**Salary**: £29,771.32 per annum
