Job Overview

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school's Medical Room and supporting students with pastoral needs. You will work closely with the Assistant Head (Pastoral) to provide support for students, parents, and teachers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and support to students with medical needs.
  • Work with the Assistant Head (Pastoral) to develop and implement care plans and risk assessments.
  • Support disadvantaged students to improve their academic performance, behaviour, and attendance.
  • Manage parental complaints and monitor issues related to complaints.
  • Be a positive role model and promote a supportive school ethos.

This is a 30-hour/week position, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.30pm. The estimated salary for this role is £22,857 per annum.
