Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Wellbeing and Safety Advisor to join our Retirement Villages Group team in Rugby. This is a full-time position, working 31.5 hours per week on night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during emergencies. They will respond promptly to emergency calls, assess situations, administer first aid when necessary, and coordinate with emergency services as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to emergency calls within the retirement village.
  • Assessing emergencies and providing appropriate assistance.
  • Administering first aid and basic medical care.
  • Ensuring residents and staff know how to use the emergency call system.
  • Conducting wellbeing baseline assessments for new residents.
  • Providing information and awareness sessions on key health issues.
  • Coordinating with emergency services.
  • Communicating effectively during emergency situations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents.

Requirements:
  • Satisfactory DBS disclosure, references, medical clearance, and right to work in the UK clearance.
  • Proven experience as an emergency responder or similar role preferred.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid required.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of elderly residents' needs.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
