HR and Recruitment Administrator

**Job description**
**What your day to day role will involve**:
- Crafting and distributing employee contracts and helping to carry out pre-employment checks
- Processing employee records, making changes to them as needed and maintaining an accurate and up to date internal database
- Filing documents according to GDPR policy by utilising the company IT systems
- Supporting a range of ad hoc administrative duties such as performance reviews, annual leave entitlement and salary increases
- Working alongside the HR Advisor and HR Manager to reply to HR enquiries and escalate complex cases where appropriate
- Assisting in the recruitment process by liaising with the HR team to help new starters along the process; scheduling interviews, processing right to work documentation and adding new employees to our database
**What the ideal applicant will have**:
- Previous experience of administration is essential, ideally at least 2 years experience
- A great attitude with a focus on "people" not "statistics" as we endeavour to create an excellent working environment for all our staff
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office and able to process data using Excel reports, basic formulas and similar software
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Awareness of GDPR policy is desirable
**What you will receive**:
- A salary of £21,000 - £24,000 based on experience
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
