**The person**
We are looking for a positive, reliable, flexible, and motivated individual who can work well within a busy office environment and should be capable of prioritising working well as part of a team with the ability to work independently as needed, with a high level of attention to detail. They will play a vital role in enabling the team to focus on delivering exceptional products and client support whilst the business is managed effectively from the back office.
Client service is paramount and therefore they will need have a passion for giving excellent client service in a timely fashion. It is essential that you are professional and confident in building interpersonal relationships and can work with total discretion. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and will thrive working in a busy team. You will be IT proficient, enjoy challenges, a great communicator and have an interest in the company’s overall ethos.
**What is the role?**
Working with the operations team, you will take a customer-focused approach to managing all logistics of incoming and outgoing goods across two sites (one in South Oxfordshire, one in West Berkshire) - from receipt through to shipment and delivery.
You will be an individual who takes an analytical and methodical approach, ideally with strong operational experience gained within an operations or administrative environment.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop an understanding of the agriculture sector with particular emphasis on operations and supply chain.
- **This is a full-time position (8.30-17.00 Monday-Friday) with time being split between both site locations; Hill Green, Berkshire and Ginge, Oxfordshire. Due to the remote location, own transport is to be essential.**_
**If you join us, this is what your day will look like**:
- Co-ordinate incoming & outgoing goods
- Use online portals to create daily shipping requests to support customer orders - preparing and checking shipping documents and ensuring costs are controlled
- Work within the operations team to ensure efficient and effective order turnaround which meets company standards
- Provide all documentation to the operations team to enable smooth transit of customer orders to customer sites
- Monitor customer shipments and implement solutions to resolve any problems that arise
- Ensure accurate records of business activities are maintained
- Assist in arranging inbound shipments of stock from suppliers to ensure timely receipt and uninterrupted operations workflow
- Liaise with customers regarding order logistics to ensure satisfaction
- Ability to understand and interpret laws and regulations

- Adapt with Microsoft programs: Teams, Excel, Outlook
- Experience or knowledge of supply chain/logistics would be beneficial
- ADR awareness trained would be beneficial
