Pay Rate: £25,780 per annum.
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 Hours per week
Location: St. Joseph's Blundell Avenue, Freshfield, Formby, Liverpool, L37 1PH

The Frances Taylor Foundation provides a comprehensive array of social care and support services, all rooted in a person-centred approach. We operate across Liverpool and Merseyside, Brighton and Hove, and Greater London.
Our services have a rich history. In the 1980s and 1990s, as the UK transitioned from large institutions to smaller community-based care for people with learning disabilities, we were at the forefront. We've continued to evolve, modernising our offerings to meet the changing needs and preferences of those we support. Some of our services are housed in brand new facilities, reflecting our commitment to innovation and understanding the unique aspirations of individuals. About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll join a committed team that delivers high-quality care and support. This pivotal role involves:
- Provide leadership to the team acting as a positive role model at all times.
- Carry out regular supervisions and appraisals for Support Workers
- Liaise with Health Professionals and maintain good working relationships
- Administer medication in line with the policy and the individual's care plans.
- Take part in completing assessments
About you:
In order to be considered as a Senior Support Worker with us, you will need:
- A kind and caring nature with a passion for enriching lives.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a care environment, coupled with leadership involvement.
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent required
- Experience administering medication
- CQC Awareness and Understanding

St. Joseph's Home specialises in supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities who have complex health care needs. Our facility features beautiful, secure grounds, a hydrotherapy pool, and three sensory rooms with state-of-the-art multi-sensory equipment. Residents can personalise their bedrooms and enjoy a variety of activities, including social clubs, music therapy, a sensory garden, and reminiscence sessions. We also support community outings to Liverpool City Centre for concerts and the local village for shopping and dining with family and friends.
