Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Category Merchandiser to join our team in this exciting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that sales and profit are maximised across our Home category. This will involve managing and developing our Merchandise Admin Assistants, as well as working closely with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Merchandise Admin Assistants to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms that benefit the business.
- Develop and implement plans to drive sales and revenue growth across the Home category.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress against targets.
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience in a merchandising or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with merchandising systems and tools.
