Control Techniques (CT) is part of the Industrial Automation business within the Nidec Group.

**Role Overview**:
This is a newly created dynamic position with several areas of responsibility supporting the Partner Distribution business. The post holder will oversee all activity that enables our Partner Network to deliver the growth that we have planned for, assisting our Area Sales Managers

**Area Sales Support**
- Responsible for liaising with the Area Sales Managers to deliver the ambitious growth targets that we have committed through our Distribution Partners.
- Organize and develop training schedules for the Partners, following the ASM’s growth plan
- Ensure that all branches are ‘branded’ to maximize our footprint in the branch.
- Work proactively to ensure that all branches are stocked with the correct product to enable the sales activity in the local region.

**Sales Assistance**
- To work with our Marketing and Channel Partner Champion to pre-qualify sales leads that are placed into the Salesforce software for Telford. Assist in deploying the best strategy and resources to the enquiry that will ensure maximum success.
- Follow up on the relevant Sales Person to gauge success and the next steps.
- Report on the outcomes.
- Work with the Marketing Champion to deliver Annual Partner Days, Quarterly Partner Inductions and General Factory visits for our Channel Partners.
- This will include determining the best venue for the audience, organizing the itinerary and facilitating the smooth running of the event that best positions Control Techniques in the marketplace

**General Duties**
- To assist in the smooth running and administration of the Partner Network.
- Monitor validity of Partner agreements and report as necessary.
- Monitor performance and advise Partners of their monthly sales/orders
- Measure against pre-determined KPI’s and work with the Channel Manager/Area Sales Managers to stimulate growth

**Qualifications, Experience and Profile**:
**Essential**
- Strong Organizational and planning skills
- Good communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Strong interpersonal skills

**Desirable**
- Ability to travel within the UK as the activity dicates
- Previous experience working within a commercial environment
- Knowledge of the UK drives market
