Job Introduction

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Recruitment / Resourcing to take the lead on delivering our recruitment strategy, in a highly visibly and active role in the organisation. In fact, recruitment is our number one priority.

You’ll play a crucial part in delivering our People and Recruitment Strategy and wider business objectives relating to recruitment.

To support this, HCRG Care Group are recruiting for a newly created Head of Recruitment position.

Main Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role are varied and working alongside your team and wider colleagues you will be involved in:

- **Strategy finalisation and delivery** - we’ve been partnering with our business units to review and refresh our recruitment strategy and team operating model. We have developed ambitious strategy to provide a comprehensive end to end recruitment service for our hiring managers - you will help finalise, then lead the launch and embedding of this new approach.
- **Team coaching and leadership** - As part of our recruitment strategy, the recruitment team will be growing and will provide end to end services covering substantive recruitment and own the relationship with our temporary staffing partner. Your leadership and development of the team will be critical.
- **Recruitment projects - **our new strategy involves lots of project-based activity including International Recruitment, Direct Engagement, ATS enhancement and creation of hiring manager development programmes. You will lead each of these activities.

This is a challenging role, and you will need to be an experienced recruitment leader and be able to demonstrate the following:

- leading the majority of the main responsibilities, listed above, in a fast-paced environment.
- exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to influence senior business executives and to drive a cross-functional team in an aligned direction.
- articulate and creditable with the organisation’s senior leadership team.
- developing and coaching recruitment teams to provide a great service and deliver our recruitment strategy.
- development and delivery of workforce plans.
- management of Master Vendor services for temporary staffing.
- experience of recruiting / managing in the health and care / clinical sector would be a distinct advantage - although experience of other hard to source sectors can be considered.

You will be based out of our Runcorn office, although you will only need to be in the office a couple days a week and you can work from home for the majority of the week, if you wish.
