Job Overview

Smart4Sciences is recruiting for a Head of Pharmaceutical Quality Control based in Runcorn, UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a specialized company in inhalation and respiratory drugs, with a focus on Quality Control.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical quality control and leadership experience. They will be responsible for managing the Quality Control team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing processes for quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the Quality Control team and ensure effective operation of the laboratory.
  2. Develop and implement quality control procedures, including method validation and instrument qualification.
  3. Analyze raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  5. Develop and implement training programs for QC staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc in a scientific field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control and 5 years of management experience.
