Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineer to join our team in the Liverpool area. As a Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation and operation of pharmaceutical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- To attend customers' facilities as and when needed to carry out installations & IQ/OQ.
- To assist with Pre-FAT and FAT before following the equipment out to customer sites.
- To attend customers' facilities to assist with commissioning of equipment.
- To attend customers' facilities to assist with preventative maintenance.
- Assisting EC&I team with project field wiring/testing/build when not out on-site.
- To respond to emergency breakdown call-out visits.
- To ensure that the company's service duties undertaken are compliant with the requirements of the Companies Environmental Health & Safety Policy and ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- Degree (or similar) qualification in electrical engineering.
- Significant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Siemens HMI/PLCs (Siemens 7 & RS logic).
- Familiar with CAD.
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry (desirable).
- To be able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long-standing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated at £45,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, you will receive a daily allowance of £50 while off-site, and overtime pay at 1.5 times your normal rate from Monday to Saturday and double time on Sundays.
You will also be entitled to income protection and EAP benefits, including access to a doctor's app, mental health support, and general wellbeing initiatives. We offer 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, plus a Christmas shutdown that uses 3 of these days. Our pension scheme is provided by Legal & General, with employer and employee contributions of 4% each. You will also receive RAC cover and death in service benefit.
