**About us**

Foodhub is a fresh and growing provider of online food ordering solutions and a digital marketplace that offers the best value for discerning customers. In the UK, our online traffic versus our largest competitor is c. 3%. They have gained consumer market share through mass marketing and advertising that has generated online orders for their customers.

We have grown our business predominantly through a B2B focus, and it’s time to spread our wings and utilise more marketing channels to build brand awareness to grow our market share. We are looking for a skilled events planner to design and run outdoor events to literally become ‘the word on the street’ across relevant parts of the UK.

**Responsibilities**
- Attend monthly review meetings with relevant members of the marketing and management team to discuss event plans and agree the short and long term calendar
- Work closely with the sales function and align events to ‘sales swamping’ activities
- Achieve a demonstrable increase in app downloads following each series of events - targets to be agreed
- Support our drive to be a major presence in grass roots football, and design events to support ‘half time shows’ and other opportunities presented to us
- Promote the business at a consumer level at every opportunity
- Operate within a set budget, and propose budget/forecast for each event as required
- Analyse events for footfall opportunities and demographic alignment
- Build an event resource team and train them in accordance with agreed activities /style / brand tone / articulation of brand purpose
- Be present at the majority of events and supervise the activities on the day
- Gain feedback on the brand / app / customer journey from event visitors, where possible
- Utilise brand collateral and create new collateral to support events as required

**Skills & Experience**
- At least three years of experience in a similar role
- Must have a UK driving licence
- Marketing qualification would be an advantage; but work experience will be considered as an alternative
- Exceptional levels of written and spoken English
- Creative mind, and the ability to turn creative ideas into activities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
