Scottish Rugby has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the Rugby Development team as a Competitions Administrator for the West region. This role will support coordination, planning and preparation of Scottish Rugby competitions across all ages and will undertake the key administrative processes underpinning these competitions. This position will also explore opportunities for developing new regional based competition offers as part of the wider Regional and National Strategies.

**What you will be doing**:

- Be the main point of contact for all enquiries relating to regional competition, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders
- Planning, preparing and implementing all competitions and events within the West region including adult and youth league and cup competitions
- Efficiently process and communicate necessary fixture changes with clubs and schools - due to the nature of unplanned circumstances, sometimes these can be last minute
- Lead on the administration and facilitation of all regional competitions including all competitions results, records and statistics are displayed and archived.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- is effective in personal time management and is able to use initiative in managing situations and making decisions
- has experience using Microsoft Office and IT software
- is a good communicator as you will be working with a variety of stakeholders who require clear and timely information
- has previously worked with volunteers; sporting or rugby volunteering experience is desirable.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, due to working in sport this role will include evening and weekend working
- Not essential, but a driving licence would be useful.
