**Accountable to**: Operations Director

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled bookkeeper to join our vibrant team. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the financial records of our company day to day.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Recording and inputting financial transactions into the accounting system
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy of all ledger accounts
- Managing payroll, VAT and other tax obligations - with the support of our accountant
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure payment schedules are met
- Identifying and addressing accounting discrepancies and inefficiencies
- Maintaining an accurate and organised filing system for all financial records
- Putting together financial information for business reports

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficient in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks and Payroll Manager
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
