**Nixon McQuade **are currently recruiting for a **Purchase Ledger Supervisor **on behalf of a leading business based in **Newry**.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the payment of all company bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while also managing a team of accounts payable clerks.

**The Role**:

- Management of the purchase ledger function.
- Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Bank and cash allocations.
- Supplier payment runs.
- Liaising with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries.
- Month-end procedures.
- Prepare a weekly cashflow forecast.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts.

**The Person**:

- Previous experience in accounts payable.
- Prior experience managing a team.
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

**Rewards**:

- Salary range £30,000 - £35,000
- Company pension contribution
- Early finish Friday
