- We have an incredible opportunity for 2 experienced Leadership Trainers to join our talent development team to shape our training and development offer to our current and future leaders across both North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
- The role has responsibility for delivering leadership development and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) training programs in line with College of Policing and National Fire Chiefs Council standards. Training will be delivered at a number of different sites across North Yorkshire.
- The post holder will: - Design, develop and deliver leadership training for our First and Middle-Line Leaders in line with agreed learning outcomes.
- Responsible for monthly performance reporting on all leadership training/activity to identify actions required to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensuring completion of any pre or post course activities which support learning programmes.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking training and producing meaningful data to ensure objectives and learning outcomes are being achieved.
- Promote the development, implementation and delivery of blended learning solutions, ensuring learning objectives and appropriate methodologies are utilised to provide effective learning opportunities.
- Evaluating and reporting on learning successes to the organisation, demonstrating how individuals are utilising the skills and knowledge in the workplace.
- Conduct regular quality assurance activities against the College of Policing and NFCC curriculums/standards.
- Liaising with external providers where necessary in order to bring external learning in house.
- You will have an engaging and influential communication style that ensures excellent learner and stakeholder engagement. The ability to work using your own initiative and manage/prioritise workloads in order to meet competing demands is key to your success.
- You will possess a level 4 Award in Education and Training or the equivalent and should ideally have a relevant qualification in leadership and/or experience in the delivery of leadership development programmes.
