Improvement Practitioner Higher Apprentice

**About The Job** Salary**: £23,500 to £23,893 per annum.
**Working Pattern**: 37 hours per week.
**Contract Length**: Apprenticeship
**Location**: Chichester with hybrid working opportunities.
As a Higher Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to both learn and earn. This will involve working alongside experienced colleagues to provide a customer-focused service. At West Sussex, we will provide training to help you acquire multiple transferable skills during your time with us and encourage your personal development.
You will have opportunities to assist business analysts in the Highways, Transport & Planning department with process mapping and data analysis to identify improvements and solutions within the department.
You will complete all elements of the Improvement Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship, which includes virtual classroom sessions, developing a work-based portfolio, completing assessments and assignments, and presenting evidence portfolios within specified timeframes.

It is anticipated that the apprenticeship will be undertaken over an 18-month period, however this will depend on your experience and skill levels.
**This role would suit people who have**:
- Ability to meet deadlines and use initiative to complete varied tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to provide a co-ordinated service to others.
- Two A-level passes at grade C or above, or equivalent vocational qualification, for example, NVQ Level 3 (you will need to provide evidence of your qualifications).
- Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.
