Our Head Office Promotions department is instrumental in the organisation and implementation of weekly promotional activity, including Limited Offers, Non Food, Plants, Lidl Plus and Seasonal Campaigns.

As a Supply Chain Officer, you’ll work closely with the Senior Officer and Team Manager in the weekly implementation of one of the key promotional areas. From analysing data and identifying trends, to supporting with the merchandising and stock management of promotional lines. This the ideal role for someone who likes to be in the heart of our retail and commercial action.

What you'll do

Support the end-to-end campaign management of a key Promotional area driving Promotional Turnover share through involvement in:

- Forecasting future sales volumes
- Ensuring stock is on sale at the right time
- Store space stock volume management
- Stock system utilisation
- Optimising allocations to Regional Distribution Centres
- Product merchandising set-ups
- Deputise for the senior officer

In addition, the role is responsible for:

- Running KPI analysis to track progress and identify opportunity for change
- Communicating and liaising with other departments such as Buying, Marketing, Logistics, the Regions and International teams
- Providing technical solutions and support to regional Supply Chain teams

What you'll need
- Previous experience in either a Supply Chain or Logistics role preferred
- Self-motivated with exemplary organisational skills, able to multi -task and manage your own work load
- Entrepreneurial with the ability to frequently question existing processes and improve them
- Excellent communication with the confidence and composure to liaise with internal departments
- Proven data driven mindset with excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to critical deadlines
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and confident presentation skills
