Fleet Administrator

A terrific opportunity has become available within a growing business, which is closely associated with the vehicle rental and vehicle fleet industry.
With excellent IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office you will ensure there are systems and methods in all aspects of Sales Administration. Duties will include: ordering vehicles, quotes, maintaining and updating effective transaction records; the timely and accurate processing of contracts; and effective manufacturer contact. You will also assist senior management with producing reports and therefore must be able to access, collate, present and maintain relevant data in spreadsheet format.
It is essential that you have over 1 year’s previous experience of working in a busy Administration environment. Assertive and approachable, you will be a team-player and a good communicator who can ensure that you are proactively aware of the needs of teams that you support. Professional with a methodological approach to tasks, you must be able to effectively prioritise and organise your workload to support the department(s) accordingly, contributing towards the highest standards of service we provide for our customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Astute with a proven ability to operate effectively within a sensitive environment employing the highest levels of attention to detail.
- Administrative experience preferable gained from within the vehicle rental, vehicle leasing or fleet management sectors and familiar with fleet operational risk within this environment.
- Familiar with fleet management systems as the role requires active management of this facility, Note these requirements are desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Processing CRM data and liaising directly with customers by phone and face to face.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Word and Access as well as be able to compile spreadsheets and presentations.
Person Specification
- Enjoy analysing and be very comfortable with handling data, figures and business reports.
- Fast paced and able to handle several projects and tasks at the same time.
- Keen networker and relationship builder.
- An excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
- A full driving licence would be preferable.
This role is flexible regarding hours, ideally 5 half days. Starting rate £11.50 per hour.
