Aligning to the National Performance Framework, public procurement in Scotland must deliver social change while being business centred, rooted in place and community, open, transparent and innovative.
This senior role is based in the Procurement eCommerce & Best Practice Division which is made up of 4 teams: eCommerce & Procurement Best Practice; Procurement Engagement; Procurement Management Information; and SG P2P Governance.
You will lead and direct the Procurement Management Information Team who provide advice and guidance on the use of procurement, spend and supply chain data to demonstrate the impact of procurement on a range of strategic outcomes. You will be responsible for the implementation of a new national Procurement Management Information Platform that will deliver enhanced business intelligence and analytical capability for a range of stakeholders across Scotland.

- You will drive the delivery of the Procurement Management Information Branch, monitoring projects and services to ensure processes and systems developed by the team make procurement more efficient, transparent and consistent.
- You will ensure that the ongoing performance of existing services and contracts are fit for purpose, maximising the benefits delivered to end user organisations. This will include managing suppliers and facilitating continuous improvement.
