Job Description:

We are seeking a Marine Health and Safety Strategic Lead to join our team at Seapeak Bahrain Operations LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our health and safety strategy across our fleet.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in leading teams and implementing strategic plans. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, and collaborating with our shore-based staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of health and safety initiatives.

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 per annum, plus benefits including hybrid working arrangements, 36 days' annual leave, private health insurance, and an annual bonus programme.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our health and safety strategy
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with shore-based staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of health and safety initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marine engineering or environmental science
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in the marine industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations and industry standards
