We are searching for a dedicated Education Support Assistant to join a fantastic team in Nottingham.

As an Education Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting. Your primary role will involve assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans and ensuring that students receive the necessary support to help them reach their full potential.

**Job Duties**:

- Supporting students with SEN in their academic and social development
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
- Providing one-to-one support to students as required
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring and recording student progress
- Collaborating with other staff members and parents/guardians

**Required Qualifications**:

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Patient, empathetic, and understanding approach

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Training in supporting students with specific learning difficulties

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
