As a key member of Nottingham City Council's team, you will be responsible for transporting individuals with special needs to and from their educational institutions. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as patience and empathy when interacting with vulnerable passengers.
Responsibilities and Expectations:- Maintain regular communication with Passenger Assistants, parents/carers, and other professionals to ensure smooth operations.
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence with a D1 category.
- Manual handling and wheelchair management will be required to ensure safe transportation.
The salary for this position is approximately £25,992 (Level one) rising to £26,835 (Level four) per annum, adjusted for part-time hours.
