Overview:
To represent the Company as a member of the Event Services Rigging Team, handling all aspects of rigging projects. The role will involve many aspects of project implementation, including show specific pre-production work and working on site.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the live events rigging industry.
- NRC L2 qualified or equivalent.
- Experienced in climbing, rappelling, comfortable working at height.
- Understanding of safe working loads, safety factors and rigging principles.
- Understanding of the following:

- Various rigging systems and the implementation of said rigging systems
- Chain motors
- Load limits, truss, bolts, chains, slings, hooks, wire rope etc.
- Good understanding of electrical chain hoists and basic electricityprinciples.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate - knowledge of WYSIWYG and CAD would be an advantage.
- Competent in the translation of data from specifications and plans.
- Dedicated and professional approach to work.
- Good organisational and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working on their own initiative in a constantly changing and pressurised

environment.
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours and away on site for periods of time.
- Ability to follow and undertake safe lifting practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret Rigging plans to ensure an affective load in/out.
- Access the appropriate IT systems to be able to view and manipulate Rigging drawings when required
- Create equipment lists including spares and any special requirements
- Attend production and site meetings as required.
- Work on site as part of a larger rigging team, loading in / out and providing show cover
- Assist with the show preparation of equipment in all group locations as required.
- To assist the Crew Chief with any aspects of pre-production. This may include:

- Manipulating rigging drawings using CAD.
- Preparing rigging electrical calculations and configurations.
- Preparing rigging equipment specifications from drawings.
- To maintain accurate records of hours worked on site and liaise with Crewing Services.
- Adhere to all relevant H&S regulations including PPE and Site Safety.
- To ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.
