- Are you a Payroller who enjoys working within a fast paced end to end payroll function? Are you looking for your next contract opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our professional payroll team on a fixed term contract until the end of the year who has the ability to run payroll from start to finish for up to 100 members of staff.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Responsible for own payroll from start to finish.
- Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
- Provide administrative support to colleagues and other teams.
- Support with payroll calculations such as Maternity, Sickness, Pension and Hypothetical Tax etc for payrolls.
- Support the Payroll Lead in systems upgrade testing and payroll system maintenance.
- Ensure HMRC RTI submissions are accurate, completed and submitted within timescales.
- Work closely with Payroll Lead to ensure tax year end reporting to HMRC, closure of old tax year and setting up payroll for new tax year.
- Produce regular and adhoc reports.
- Administer reconciliation of flexible benefit scheme, gain approval and instruct Finance re payment.
- Assist the Payroll Lead as required

**What you'll bring**:

- Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems and escalate issues within a fast paced environment.
- Experience of working in a fast paced end to end payroll environment and meeting deadlines
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
- Experience of a computerised payroll system, ideally Resourcelink
- Sound up to date knowledge of payroll and experience of using MS Office, Word and Excel
- Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues, and prioritise workload when under pressure
- Experience of having sole ownership of an in-house payroll.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Must be a team player with a hands on approach.
- Must have a positive outlook and a “can do” attitude, owning issues not afraid to question.
- Strong attention to detail and tenacity for accuracy.
- Ability to work to changing priorities.
