Job Overview:
Richard F Mackay, Furniture Flooring and Kitchens are looking for energetic Sales Assistants to work with the expanding furniture showroom within their flagship superstore based in central Edinburgh.

They are looking for someone who has at least two years experience working in a busy client facing role.

It could be anything from selling mobile phones, working in a coffee shop, a busy clothes store... they will conisder any client facing experinece or selling environment... it is essential that you are comfortable speaking to clients in store or on the phone.

Dont worry we will give you full training on all our beautiful furniture including factory visits in the UK and throughout Europe.

Along with this there are many admin duties required for the role, you will be the store managers right hand person from lead taking, order confirmations, invoicing and organising events.

This is an exciting multifaceted role and no two days will be same.

We are a small team so we need someone who is not afraid to get stuck in and do whatever the day involves.

Ideally as a retail store you will need to work weekends with flexible days off.

**Experience**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn about our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to potential customers
- Assist senior sales representatives in generating leads and prospecting new clients
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of the sales process
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Passion for sales and a desire to build a successful career in the field
